Women’s fitness and female only CrossFit group training classes. Mums and Bubs, Seniors and Post/ Prenatal women *Children Welcome!*

Inner West CrossFit Mums classes are based on the same CrossFit methodology we use in all our CrossFit sessions:

” Constantly varied, functional movements preformed at a high intensity’”

However with the ladies only classes we take the intensity level down a notch, we like our ladies to feel comfortable with the movements and feel no pressure whilst doing the work outs.

Every session is different, that way your body gets doesn’t get used to the same stimulus, we keep your body constantly challenged, forcing it to adapt to the tasks at hand. We don’t put the body in unnatural positions through the use of machines, instead we mimic real life situations using large muscle groups in conjunction with each other.

The 10 components of fitness are defined as:

Cardio Endurance, Strength, Stamina, Agility, Flexibility, Balance, Power, Speed, Co-ordination and Accuracy.

CrossFit Mums session run for 40 minutes.

A quick word from the trainer:

The CrossFit Mums classes are based on the same methodology as CrossFit.

However with the ladies classes we take the intensity level down a notch. From time to time we will not run the clock and focus more on technique and form whilst still getting a good work out, getting that heart rate up and working up a sweat.

At the end of each session we will work on core strength and stability.

We have all ages and fitness abilities attend our classes and we individualize the session to suit every one, it doesn’t matter about your current fitness level/shape or size, you don’t need to be a mum either, just a female :)

Children are welcomed in the classes, we provide toys and an area for the kids, however if you need to stop mid work out to tend to your child, that is not frowned upon, we encourage a relaxed atmosphere, you will still get a good work out guarenteed.
